How to remove sumo bezel insert 

Is it really necessary to disassemble the whole watch to change the insert?

It makes more sense to remove the bezel for the insert replacement.

Hi, thank you for posting this. I need to remove and replace my Sumo's bezel insert as well. Was that hot water you put in you glass bowl to soften the glue? Also, were not afraid you might put a nick into the bezel as you squeezed the tip of the screwdriver to pry it loos? Thank you.

Can't the whole bezel come off or does it need to be totally dismantled

The liquid may have been hot water, laquer thinner or isoprophyl alchohol
