How to remove the plate to plate heat exchanger on the Baxi 600/800 Combi boiler

Glad to see these trainings Tue back .is there any easy way to visually see if the flue turret seal has moved up

Wish it is this easy on other manufacturers boilers.

Well I'm glad this is here as I can now replace my DHW HE on my 830 for a grand total of 65 quid. Don't see the need to be a gas safe engineer as you're not even getting involved with any of the gas supply or combustion. Got the kit, comes with the washers and new screws. If I can replace a motherboard/LCD/touchpad in a laptop and also wire domestic electrics to standard I think I'll be just fine. FWIW I'd not try at all, ever, to replace the main HE, that's got combustion/flue gases in it, so I'd hire a pro for sure. I don't have the kit to check for all the right parameters and CO leaks, and the risk is just too high. But for water/water HE, the risk is minimal.

Replace the 4seals?

You need to state on every video that you must be gas safe registered to remove the case of any of your 600 or 800 boilers..

In real world would be harder as water be gushing out from the plate also the washers on plate need replacing.

You must state that you have to be Gas Safe registered to remove the case off your 600/800 boilers.. Any boiler that has had its combustion cover removed must be checked with a gas/flue analyser and set to the manufacturrs instructions. I love your videos but they should not be open to the jo public 👍🏽
