Yes the only option available is to repurpose or hide it. You can hide from your form once you make it optional following the steps outlined in this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-oaSAslFzByg.html
Hi Lui, Good Morning from India... Upon converting an excel table to an SP List, I find it annoying to see the first column being used as the Title column... Any hacks for this since the column will contain relevant data...?
Hi there, I agree with your sentiment. What I typically do is either rename the Title column and repurpose it to store text based data or make it not required and hide it from the form view and from the list view. I hope this helps and thanks for watching!
Hi lui, Indeed as you mentioned i have created a POwer APP, ( from a sharepoint list) , and it brings my initial title column into the 'Browser gallery, and in fact messes up my fields. very annotying. Have u already explained how to deal with this in your latest video?. pls let me know thanks
Hi Martin, my apologies for the delay! Unfortunately I have not posted a tutorial on how to customize a Sharepoint List form using Powerapps. This is on my backlog however. If you figure out the solution in the interim please update me on how you did it. Thank you for watching.
