SharePoint is a versatile and powerful platform developed by Microsoft, designed for collaboration, document management, and web content management. It is widely used by organizations to create websites, manage documents, share information, and collaborate more effectively.
In SharePoint, you can hide or delete a page title using different methods depending on your specific requirements and SharePoint version.
----------
Find the best Microsoft 365 plan for your business:

----------
Here's how you can achieve both:
Hide the Page Title:
Modern SharePoint:
Edit Page: Navigate to the page where you want to hide the title and click on the "Edit" button.
Select the Title: Click on the page title. This will usually activate a text box or toolbar.
Hide Title: Look for an option like "Page details" or "Edit web part" in the toolbar. From there, you can often find an option to hide the title. This may vary depending on your SharePoint setup and version.
Save: After hiding the title, save the changes to the page.
Classic SharePoint:
Edit Page: Go to the page you want to modify and click on the "Edit" option.
Edit Web Part: Click on the web part containing the title.
Advanced Settings: Look for an option like "Advanced" or "Edit Web Part" from the web part menu.
Hide Title: In the web part settings, you may find an option to hide the title. This can vary depending on the web part used.
Save: Save the changes to the page.
Delete the Page Title:
If you want to completely remove the page title from the page, you may need to use more advanced customization options or edit the page directly in SharePoint Designer (for classic SharePoint sites). However, keep in mind that directly modifying SharePoint pages in this manner might require advanced knowledge and permissions, and it's generally not recommended unless you're familiar with SharePoint development.
Here's a general guideline for advanced users:
SharePoint Designer (Classic SharePoint):
Open the site in SharePoint Designer.
Locate the page you want to modify.
Edit the page layout to remove the title placeholder or modify the page markup to remove the title HTML elements.
Save and publish the changes.
Custom Scripting or Branding (Modern SharePoint):
Use SharePoint Framework (SPFx) extensions or custom scripts to modify the page rendering.
Modify the page template or apply custom CSS to hide the title.
Deploy and apply the customization to the site.
Keep in mind that directly modifying SharePoint pages, especially in classic SharePoint, can have implications for supportability and future upgrades. Always ensure that you have appropriate backups and permissions before making any significant changes to SharePoint pages.

Hmm.. what I did was duplicate the home page that initially doesn't have a title and used that as the template. The problem with that is you'll have the site title stuck in the browser tab. So if you're okay with "Site Title - Page Title" displaying in the browser tab, duplicating the home page is a good workaround.

I did some research on this. It can be done, but it involves changing the html code of the SharePoint site. It's not something that can be done right out of the box.
