Hi, Love your channel TNX!!! I have a favor to ask; I am wondering if it is possible to have a video about PIVI ( entertainment system screen) system reset . I own 110 2024 and every 2 -3 weeks I see that the screen is going black., but radio still working and if I accidentally touch the ( black) screen it can make a phone call or act as it is working. Putting the car in Reverse - cameras not showing so visibly it is pretty much dead. Going through a lot of web posts I see that it is common issue , Defender seemed to me does not care. The only solution I know is to reset the system by pressing the volume bottom down ( not always working) , or lock the car step away that key is not readable wait for 5 min. Do you have any additional advise, as well "reset" video will be helpful for Defender community. Thank you again!
Hi Sorry for the slow reply - this is interesting. I have not seen this issue myself so hard to comment. At first guess it would seem like an issue with the screen itself - rather than the pivi pro computer - under the seat. If i had this issue I would look at removing the screen when the issue was present - unplug and replug the screen - leave the Pivi system active - if this fixed the issue then the problem lies with the screen unit itself and I would be looking for a replacement screen.
@@L663 Hello again, just an update ... I have spent 2 -3 days with LR dealer to catch the issue with the PIVI system, finally was able to have them to read an error code from the "Black Box" So far: " CHECKED FOR CODE WITH TOPIX CLOUD FOUND U3000-09 STOPPED IN IDMA AND WAS TOLD BY TECHLINE TO REPLACE IDMA" as I UNDERSTAND pivi screen was replaced. luckily they had one in warehouse ( it is like I brought the car to a ford dealer and they need to order the LR part.. :)) Anyway will keep an eye on it to see if issue actually fixed. It appears your initial diagnosis was correct, suggesting that the problem likely lies with the screen itself. TNX!
@@L663Ah…now it was a Sunday morning many years ago when I was cleaning out a cupboard whilst still wearing pyjamas. After removing the contents…or junk….i had the vacuum cleaner running and put the hose to one side whist I reached in to get to something on the floor. Suddenly there was a strange sensation and a really funny noise like a fast ridden moped….i grabbed the switch to cut the cleaner but t haunted me for days afterwards! 😬😬😅😅😅😅
