A tip for the water soluble marker: you can buy something called an "aquabrush", which is a paintbrush with a build-in water reservoir. They are ment for watercolor painting, but they work great for detailed removal of water soluble marker!

I was stiching a design on the handkercheif but it went wrong and i tried erasing it but it did not go..I literally started panicking...(I made that for my best friend) I was literally shocked by the results... I used hand sanitizer,cold water and normal detergent used to wash clothes..and literally after rubbing with a brush the pencil marks started disappearing and totally went off in no time...Literally amazing results.... Thank you so much....😁

That's a great idea! I bet hand sanitizer works even better than regular alcohol, because its often in gel form and takes longer to evaporate.

@@sapnasathe937 try washing it with soap. If not, some rubbing alcohol can be helpful

Hey, if it does not go out by washing or with heat, probably it's permanent. Unfortunately, you can not remove that.

Maam , friction pen's ink is not removed after 2 to 3 day den wat to do

Hi, Don't worry, the friction pen can be removed also after longer time. I often have long lasting projects and never had any problems to remove friction pen even after some months. In case it does not go out with the heat, you cna always wash it with mild detergent.

What about tracing paper (carbon paper)?

Try these: - Remove tracing marks by dabbing them with a kneadable putty rubber. Knead a rubber to warm it between your fingers and pat it on the fabric. The rubber will absorb the residue of the carbon paper marks. - If the marks persist - mix baking soda with dish soap to make a paste, then scrub easily with a toothbrush. Rinse and dry. - Wash the embroidery after the tracing marks are removed.

What about when the chalk does not just dissolve?!!!

It's probably a mix of chalk and wax, as simple chalk is very easy to remove. Try to wash it with dish soap or clean it with the rubbing alcohol.

Is it tailor's chalk? Just rinse it carefully in a bucket with cold water and a drop of wool/silk detergent

Try to use an eraser. If the marks resist the eraser, mix 1/4 cup cool water, 3/4 cup rubbing alcohol, and 1 tbsp of bleach-free liquid dish soap in a bowl. Dip a toothbrush into the solution and scrub the pencil mark gently until it is gone. Be extra careful not to snag the stitches.
