My system was heavily infected I had a virus that took all the storage space on my pc. None of the things in this video worked and I thought all hope was lost until I tried the AWD cleaner he talked about in the second to last chapter. It detected 101 threats and I quarantine all of them. Afterward I ran the scan again just to be safe, found 14 more threats! Kept running until all threats were gone and now my pc works Real smooth thank you!

Great Video Brian. I can imagine it would be very hard to infect Windows 11 due to it's hardcore security that Microsoft has built in (same as windows 10) but I guess there it is always a possibility. Keep up the great work as always :-)

Would you say antivirus software like Norton, McAfee, ect.. are a waste of money? I'm alright with computer stuff, but my buddies who know more than me tend to prefer base windows antivirus/windows defender. They call those other 3rd party ones primarily bloatware. Edit. So since I got my new laptop, I'm running base windows defender and uninstalled the "free 1 month" of antivirus that came with my msi laptop. I think it was Norton. I also took a while to get rid of some other pre-installed stuff. I got a Vector GP66 during a Black Friday Sale in 2022 from NewEgg

what happens if you find a malware exstension, thats been locked by "organizer" and you can't find windows defender in your microsoft store and laptop?

My drives keeps getting filled over and over even if ots empty, it shoes 42gb worth of installed apps but when clicked on it, only shows about 4-5 gb worth only😭

I just got a virus (or hacked from a Doom 3 VR or texture mod) (I think) it deleted everything off my desktop and tried to access my microphone, I did a system restore, after that, chrome wouldn't launch and windows defender wouldn't do anything, as if it wasn't installed. I forced a scan thru the powershell, it didn't find anything and now everything is back to normal besides my desktop files gone. Now I don't feel secure should I reinstall windows or just go with it and watch for odd behaviors?

I got like 7 billion viruses from an "I'm not a robot" thing. The scan says I have no viruses, but I know I have some. When I clicked the "I'm not a robot," a bunch of fake McAfee pop ups came up, and I had to use task manager to close out of them.
