Be very careful when you return the steering fluid bottle to its position held by the bolt up top and the rubber mount below. Make you lubricate the rubber mount then support it from the front and then push the bottom of the fluid bottle into the rubber mount. I didn't lubricate it and I didn't support it from the front consequently when I pushed the bottle into the rubber it pinged forward into the chassis void that ducts air into the heater box. It is about 250mm deep and has a fork where it splits into two branches. My rubber mount fell into the forward branch that you can access from the cold air duct. I couldn't retrieve it until I spent £15. On a WiFi endoscope that had a hook accessory. I was able to get into the right branch and hook the rubber, gently retrieving it.....fantastic tool, but next time I'll oil the dammed rubber before I shove the bottle home.
Nice vid. Only thing is I wish you'd mentioned all the different types of bolts. When I took my bumper off there were a few screws and and a couple of bolts missing and I don't know whatb type they are!!
I've got some strange fasteners on the top which I cant get undone, they're flat with a small ring around them and I've not seen them before. This video starts the same as all the others, with the top fasteners already off, so I'm still stuck.
They maybe like the BMW ones. Totally flat and you need to almost get a knife in there to pullt the centre pull away then the female part comes out. It's just doesn't have a thread. So just like a drawing pin stuck in a hole. You can do it 👍
