IM always worried putting boiling water in a glass jar directly in freezer will break the glass....guess not

I have used that method too. This one cleans the glass and removes the label.

@@GreenBeeExplorer I'm confused how it removes the label? Nothing was stated about doing anything to the exterior of the jar besides placing it in the freezer. Then only putting it in the freezer would also remove the label right?

@@brief402 I think it depends on the label. Maybe the heat melts the adhesive, which makes the label easier to be removed.

Just like oil in a pan, the soap collects and removes any excess oil and makes it easier to clean.
