This is a 1986 560SEC that we took the dash out of. Full credit to people in the mercedes forums for the instructions. We just put it into video format
Super helpful video - thanks for posting! I have a 87 300SDL and I'll be removing my dash this weekend to repair all my broken climate control pod diaphragms
OMG you made it look so easy....What's the shipping cost Bearded one? I need one! PS, those screws up against the window holdin' the speakers, I used one of those flex deals about a foot long with a cross bit...✌
DashTop by Palco Industries--I have had one on my 126 for several years and love it. Hard to tell it is not the real dash. About $200 now. Don't leave it in hot sun or it could warp..
Tremendous help. I've read everything available on this and you completely explained what's involved. Thank you very much. You are fortunate to have such an awesome partner in your Mercedes restoration. You and she are cool. I enjoyed your group tutorial and will watch all of them. I have an 86 SEC and can't tell you how much this helps! John in San Antonio
