My exchange aftermarket caliper is catching on the insoide of the wheel rim when braking. Just a very small amount but enough to be felt in the car. Any ideas ? Thanks

Wrong size or offset rim? People often look only if the bolt holes align and think it "fits", completely ignoring ET offset.

Is there need to bleed that brake? I thought that air would be trapped in the new caliper, thanks

yes you need every time to pump the brakes out of air if you open it and grease the contact where the brakes slide on and off if you have an eye on these things your brakes hold a long time.

I've just replaced the hand brake cables but it won't work .Brake works fine any ideas

Then in one or two brake calipers the hand brake mechanism isn't working.

handbrake driversside was seazed ,tryed several times by diferent mechanics to release,worked a few days then seazed again,brake caliper must be changed,there are some cheap calipers in the market instead of genuine which is a little expensive 200 euros

@@Barry0666 i was driving for a month without handbrake its not the end of the world but there is a solution if only one caliper is seezed. You unlock the handbrake cable from the seezed caliper and you still have handbrake from the other side. Otherwise you can buy 2 new calipers for 120 - 140 €
