Thank you so much for this, I have 100+ dolls that have been sitting in totes and nearly all of their faces are squished from heat. Again THANK YOU !

Thank you 🥺🙏🏼 there's hope for my raven queen. Recently took her out of her storage but for some reason her head was squished horizontal in the eyeline giving her a pointy nose and flat thick face

She’s a pretty doll I’m pleased you fixed her, I’ve done it using a hair dryer before too 🙂🙂🙂🙂

I wonder if it would work for my Cabbage Patch Vinyl head that got squished recently from being under a heavy box.

Hello! I am trying to fix a wobbly neck issue on my Bratz doll. I would like to avoid using the rubber band method or adding anything that will add onto her neck (with external items) if at all possible. I see a small gap between her neck hole on her head and her neck (I also accidentally managed to get water stuck in the head from a boil wash--she is currently still draining small bits of water). Do you have any advice or tips on how to make her head less wobbly and/or properly remove the water from her head without further damaging her neck hole?

You could use a hair dryer carefully to help dry the inside of her head and hopefully the heat will help return the neck hole to its proper size. Or do a body swap to fis the wobble

Hi, do you think this’ll work on Monster High and Ever After High dolls? I’ve recently taken out my dolls from storage, and a few of them have been squashed with a doll set!
@fumsmusings
@fumsmusings 3 года назад
Yes it should as they’re made of vinyl too.

@@fumsmusings Thank you very much! I’ll definitely give it a try.

@@FrankieScientist just thought be careful because monster high dolls have their hair glued in place, so heating the head may make the hair sticky. Try to dip the part of the face squished in the water not the whole head or use a hair dryer

Is there anything I can do with a flat doll head? I have a bjd, the top back part is just flat. I think because of it I can't put on any wigs properly, or I'm just doing it wrong.

You could try what I did in this video if it's a softhead like a bratz doll

Do you know if it would work without taking the head off? I’m looking into a Tammy doll but her head looks squished, I’d rather not try and remove her head. X
@fumsmusings
@fumsmusings 2 года назад
Yeah should do, may have trouble getting the water out if it goes in though

@@fumsmusings thank you. I’ll try a hairdryer first then. I’m waiting for the seller to reply to me if it’s squished or not. Not sure if it’s how the photos been taken or if it is squished lol x

@fumsmusings

I'm not sure as the vinyl on the big bratz heads is quite thick.

hello, can you just take off the head like that and it'll pop back in easily? i'm scared to behead my dolls... haha
@fumsmusings

It's best to warm the head up first so the vinyl is more flexible.
