Greetings from S.CA. I was so stunned to see how many steps it took to take this machine apart. More stunned to see how ineffective the design is to let so much lint to accumulate, especially around the heating element. FIRE!!!! Is there a problem with the lint trap? This machine looked so tight, how did the mouse get in there? Oh, I liked that rocking chair by the back entrance. Great color.
Most dryers with front and rear tub seals seem to leak a lot of lint inside the unit as they age. Mice can squeeze through some amazingly small openings. I painted it olive drab on account of I have a lot of that left over from a previous project. Thanks for watching another one!
Yeah it's a nasty job... I worked on a stove once it had a rodent in the very bottom of the stove and you just couldn't reach in and pick it up, I had used a putty knife to scrape it off then spray an bacteria cleaner Where it was laying and let it soak for awhile so I could finish scraping the spot and as well removed all the dropping from the mouse then use the cleaner to wipe everything down inside the bottom of the stove...
I only repair gas dryers. I’m supposed to be retired so I limit my appliance repair to washers and dryer’s. We don’t get many gas dryers in my area and I don’t have gas at my shop but I do fix them at the customer’s home.
I purchased a broken dryer from someone for $20. And found $22.73 cent inside. There was I $5 bill and $1 bill stuck in the baffled the rest was all change
