Please forgive me that start the compressor under no water cooling, his operation is incorrect. This method can't works for all kinds of compressors, but only for ZYS005ST and ZTS005SP. you can check our catalog to confirm if your air pump is these two models.

I am getting Error E2 on the display. I get long beep and then error E2 on the display. Suggestions please? Thank you.

It's a backwards check valve which acts as a plug, and he reversed it so that air could travel through it. The assemblers aren't all that interested in the little things.
