In todays video we are going to replace the clutch on my girlfriends car the Skoda Felicia fun. And the best part is we have to do it al offer again...

How much do you tighten the Chutch cable? My clutch is grabbing very high up. I followed your steps but i dont see How much to tighten 10mm nut on clutch cable. Should i loosen or tighten to get my new clutch to grab earlier?

Hi, really good video it's so cool to see somebody working on a Felicia. Do you ever experience a clunk when coming on and off the accelerator in your Felicia? I have this problem with mine and i'm trying to figure out if it's my gearbox.

Imagine you are in traffic and take your foot off the accelerator to roll, then press it again to carry on going forward, when the engine engages with the transmission again there's a clunk that rocks the car back and forward unless i'm really gentle with the gas. It's like loose engine mounts but I replaced the lower transmission mount already - so not sure. I love your videos, and my Felicia is also a 1.6 pickup, so the exact same set up as your Fun! Keep up the good work my friend.

A ok, no that's not the same that I had with the car. But it does sounds like motor/tranny mounts or maybe inner cv joints that gone sloppy. Thank you for the positive feedback.

Thanks for your reply, I had another look yesterday and the outer cv joint on the drivers side is making a nasty squeak/crunch when the wheel is moved when in the air so maybe it's a combination of that and those engine mounts, because the engine moves a lot still. All the best. Tom

Where on the gearbox can I find to plug to REFIL gearbox oil? On top of the gearbox or on the side?

You have to remove the speedodrivegear to refil the gearbox.

How much kilos weighs Felicia's gearbox? Can I remove and reinstall it when lying beneath the car?

It's doable, you can also use a car jack to get it back in it's place.

Hi. Thanks for nice video. I have the same car. My problem is kilometer gear fell inside.(28:15 video). Now my kilometer doesn't work. How can I take it back? What if I use it , will I have big problem?

That sucks. I don't think it will have much impact when getting between the gears, it is plastic after al. At least mine was. But it isn't a pleasant idea. If you want to remove it then you have to disable the gearbox.

Mate i know u michanic but first gear box removed withaout stand wrong and dangerous and tha big mistake is in ur sholder otherwise is big gob u have do flighwheel scime i am special clutch fitting

Hello, you are absolutely right. It really can be a hazard doing it like i did. But sometimes you just have to do what you have to do. As for the alignment tool. I just didn't have one. Thanks for watching.
