Great Video! Now have to figure out how to get the blinds down they are some sort of snap in. The reason have to fix is one of our birds got stuck in the string and I had to cut it. So glad blinds have come down in price so can get safe ones.

This video was great! Just what I needed to replace the broken cord. FYI: If you use a tie wrap to hold the blind in the up position, you don't have to remove the blind from the window (or just leave the blind in the complete down position). If there is enough space his allows you to remove the gear mechanism without the blind unraveling.

My blind is over 12-foot wide, so this is a great idea, as it is very cumbersome.

This video was great! And nice to include a link to order parts. I'm a first time home owner and when my blinds stopped working this video helped me fix my blinds on my own and order the necessary parts. The shipment came very quickly and the price was great.

Great video! I wish I watched before I attempted the fix, since I managed to get the 2 springs in the clutch out of place... does anyone know where they are supposed to be exactly??

This video was great. I joined my cord and followed your tutorial to successfully reattach it. However my cord did tear again after a few days. Do you know where do I buy a replacement cord loop ? What are they called ? How to make sure the cord thickness/length matches my blind ?

Hi there, You can purchase a new cord loop on our website here: fixmyblinds.com/collections/continuous-cord-loops/products/cord-loop-c30. We only have a couple of thicknesses that we sell; I linked to the most common. It's not going to be the same as your original as that size is now discontinued. However, this replacement should work great.

Hi Aaron - You want to convert a cordless operated blind into one that operates with a cord? If so, there's no way to convert them. It's best to just replace the blind with one that operates how you prefer.

Aaron, the exact same blind used in this video is discontinued. But if you go to www.blinds.com and look at cellular/honeycomb shades that operate with a continuous cord loop, they will be similar to these.
