FYI the reason you didn't have to take off the spindle and other misc. stuff is bc that FJ is only 2wd... 4wd you need to just undo the spindle at the bottom. unbolt the axle from the outside and the spindle will swing out.
@@CoopersAutomotiveRepair Toyota don't sell it complete for the 2x4. They sell the hub and bearing separate. I presume easier to press on than separating the two.
Yes you can buy the entire assembly. It's been available for over 5 years. Granted RockAuto has the entire assembly, but they use low-quality bearings. They also have only been having them built for a few months. I have been building complete assemblies for over 5 years now, and only use the top quality bearing by Koyo (AKA Timken) which last the longest. You can find them at www.marionbumper2bumper.com
