How to Replace a halogen G4 bulb with an LED G4 bulb

Only luckers with magnetic transformers can replace halogen 12v AC with LED. You will have incresed voltage on LED then, 14.4V instead of 12V, and on my case 2 watt loss for transformer empty drive. Lightweight electronic transformer have 100Hz 12V output and dosens problem with other parameter caused by chopping electricity by components, they just start to flicker, work, then again flicker, never ending nightmare. 10 euro for 12V 1A DC adapter power supply, 220V supply wires end from transformer, disconnect, then connect into new outlet(for extension cord), and your persisting equipment will work on LED G4 12V.

Just replaced mine and they flickered, crackled and burnt out 🙃 hence why I'm here.

Really small? No, that's HUGE for a mere G4 housing, obviously designed to look artsy decorative then you went and hid it under the counters, which makes no sense for both reasons. As for which G4 bubles are best, it has a lot to do with how much airflow a housing allows, the true running voltage (claiming 12V does not guarantee it's really 12.0V), whether AC or DC, and whether when they claim they work on AC, if they have a proper rectification and capacitor in them or just run at half wave using the LEDs themselves to block the negative voltage component (which tends to make them more susceptible to voltage spike damage). If the bulbs you picked work out for you, great, but generally the bulbs are larger to handle more robust, and more complex circuitry to drive them, and allow better LED heatsinking for both higher lumens per watt and longer lifespan. Best thing to do: Don't buy housings that barely have any room in them nor ones that have a reflector that depends on the incan filament in a precise position because it's a spotlight, instead if you need spot then get one with a lens that does that.

So you need 1 transformer per bulb? I k ow you said per unit but i just want to confirm.
