Is the 2004 4.0 oil pump hard to replace? Don't know if it's behind the timing chain and more

How much lift does that XJ have? Running 3” so hoping it will be enough to drop the pan.

I’m not sure exactly what the lift is, but I know it’s pretty small.

I have 45 pounds of oil pressure when I first start the jeep for about 30 or 40 minutes then once it warms up it sometimes drops all the way to 10. Would that be or pump?

I’m at the same stage, unsure if it is the oil pump but I would assume so, I’m going to be changing mine anyways to make sure.

I believe in our case, it actually ended up being the oil pressure sensor that needed to be replaced.

What where the effects you were having before you fixed it

We were getting low oil pressure in the engine.

@@TheBurnoutShow I have replace my oil, pressure sensor and my oil pressure gauges all the way down still thinking it could be the oil pump

So, take the oil pan all the way out from the start and don't try working around it. Got it 😂

Your jeep is lifted enough. You don’t have to remove the axle at least.
