How to replace a NDSL Case 2

My fucken ribbon snapped.... Great!

Ribbon cables scare the hell out of me because I have NO luck with them.

I know the video is quite old, but if I just want to replace the back part of the upper screen, can I take out the rubber, the screws, change it, and then close it up?

Easy enough to follow but I have bad luck with ribbon cables XD so.. I'm not trying this one :p

I put the hinge access in backwards, now its forced inside the top of the DS. Now i have to order a new case

Guys the long screws wont go in all the way. The battery indicator thing looks like its tilted kinda. Please help
