Thats good to know it help you buddy! And thank you so much! I try to keep it clean. The 350 is a good one and you will enjoy driving it. If you need a video for the 350 I will use my for a video. Let me know. 👍🏻
Great video- I was able to change the tail light in about an hour, but it’s a tricky job. I recommend a magnetized 10mm socket so as not to drop the nuts. Also, sliding the new light into place took about ten minutes of fiddling. But glad I didn’t have to go to the dealer. Total cost was under $100.
Many thanks for the excellent video. One question: is there any difficulty in detaching and reattaching the weather seal? Any clips we should watch out for? Or does it simply slide back into the channel?
Thank you for the video, it was precise and not overdone. The Toyota engineers must have been having a laugh at us though. All that to gain access to the tail light 🤯. Wtf @ toyota
It would be real helpful if you would describe the details of the tools we need for example 12 mm socket, suck it wrench, Phillips screwdriver. Thank you
Hi! The tools are listed on the second 21. Only tools needed are phillips screw driver, wrench with extension, #10mm and #14mm sockets. Thank you for watching!
Mine had tabs in it along with the 3x 10mm Hex Nuts. I didn't realize where those long tabs were and broke them off. I guess some '06-'12 Rav4's don't have those because I didn't see you mention them nor have to unclip anything
Hi Josh! Please see in minute 3:40. I show where the long plastic tab is going to be place and the corner plastic that holds the lamp to the panel. Please see the video again and hope you see it. Thanks for watching and have a good one!
Also, forgot to add in the las message that the 3x100mm hex its shown in minute 2:15. The rav4 from 2006-2012 have the same rear lamp assy. The only thing that change is the color and outside specs.
Hello, thank you for your video, do you have a video on how to change the rear fog light on passenger side on a 2008 Toyota rav4? I cant find anything…
There is no fog light. Side light, blinker and reverse light. The stop/running light is integrated into the case and is not replaceable. The entire assembly must be replaced.
My friend is trying to do this right now in my driveway. The new assembly won't "snap" in, and we can't push it in either. Suggestions? What did we miss?
Hi Jennifer! Check if the new assy. have the corner holder, 1 plastic pin (red) in the middle and also it should have 3 screws. In the body of the suv you should have a white base for the red pin. See video in minute 3:40. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
Hi Jennifer! The toyota part numbers are: for the whole assy. driver side P/N: 81561-42100, passenger side P/N: 81551-42100. And for just the bulb it will be P/N: 00234-00192. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching and don’t forget to subscribe.
My 2006 Toyota rav4 tail light stop working all of a sudden. Assembly is just fine. Not sure if your video is explaining how to replace bulb only since your description says rear lamp which is pain in the neck for people like me. I don't think its really that easy and my cargo area is full of junk. Too much work.
@@prestigeautogang291 Thanks for responding. Yes that compartment I know and also can open but its really hard to reach area. Can reach there very limited and can't see anything. I just need to replace some of blown led bulbs. If you follow this all that you showed in your video then I will be really difficult for me.
@@prestigeautogang291 If you haven't done it then you're guessing. It is NOT the same, there is a metal brace bolted in to hold the jack. Much more difficult.
Hi Marilyn. Thats a great question. 🤣🤣🤣 They tried to make everything so impossible so we have to take it to the dealer and they can charge and absurd amount of money.
