Finally found the new belts for the Sony Walkman WM-F2081 units since these two suffered from snapped belts and got sticky on the pulleys and motors.
After I thoroughly cleaned both of them to install the new belts, they started to wobble a bit and the audio book sounded like it was warped.
Had to spray white lithium grease on the gears to get them to cooperate. They still need fine adjustments and more greasing, however, they do play tapes and they'll be used for either listening to music or going to the drive-in and tuning into the FM station to listen to the movies without having to put a lot of strain on the car battery.
