Yes, in the North East we don't have dust like Arizona, we have chunky leaves. I clean the filter and vacuum the box and I'm good to go. Toyota OEM filters are heavy duty, at least where I live. The new filter installed in the video already has 90K miles on it. 🙂

Interesting. I’m not in AZ but I understand the extra replacement intervals in dusty environments. Toyota says replace every 15K in dusty and replace every 30k in non dusty. I feel it’s cheap insurance and certainly helps performance and MPG to give the engine fresh air. Not being critical, just posting the manufacturer’s schedule. Cheers.
