Thank you so much for making this super informative video on the brake rotors and pads changing process. This video helps me out so much. Thanks for listing all of the tools and also the torque specifications for the calipers and the wheels too. Phenomenal video dude! You definitely earned a like and a subscriber from me. Your video saved me probably around 800 dollars for a total brake pad/rotors install all around on my 2011 platnium. You rock dude!

No problem dude. This is the best and most informative video on RU-vid about this subject. I really appreciate you putting the break in part on here also. That helped me more than you even know! Have a good one tho dude. Thanks again. So much.

Ya a lot of people don’t discuss break in procedures. When I bought new brakes and rotors for my tundra it came with a written break in procedure, that’s the same procedure I used in this video. But anyways, so glad it helped man. Sequoias are the shiz! I’m putting new shocks, grill, wheel spacers, tint, maybe a new roof rack and wheels plus ceramic coating it in future videos. Thanks for watching, subscribing and commenting my dude! Have a good one.

Don’t you want to remove the other two bolts to grease them? Otherwise they could stick.

The other two bolts that I think you’re referring to are the bolts that hold the caliper to the mounting bracket body. If that’s what you’re referring to, definitely don’t take those out and grease them. You want them tight and you want them to be difficult to remove.

Hi there. I have a sequoia too and I want to learn how to do brake service. I wonder if you need to put grease on plate behind of brakepads and on the pins that hold the caliper? Thank you

Hi, some break kits come with grease or “brake quiet” and yes that’s where it goes. Obviously don’t get any grease on the rotor or the pad braking surface.

Detailed & informative video dude! It’s greatly appreciated. You definitely earned a new subscriber. Quick question, what brake pad & rotor kit did you end up going with? Do you mind sharing the link? Thank you!
