Mine was different - 2006 Ford Ranger 2WD / 2.3L / no options. My front rotors had the hub assembly in them. I had to remove the wheel bearings and clean/repack too.

Great tutorial 👍 .. my wife and I home school our grandkids ... as a retired mechanic the only suggestion, would be to add the caliper bolt size ..I have used all your videos. He ( I guide him) is restoring a 84 Monte Carlo .. he has 3 neighbors he works for helping them around the yard and house to earn the money ( and we have helped him once in a while with hard to fined parts on the net) it will be done by the time he is ready to drive on 4 yrs ( Gramma and Grampa will pay for the paint job as a gift ) he's a go getter so thank you for helping educate the younger generation 👍

Great video, thanks! Question: I have heard the bearing should be replaced or lubricated when the rotors/pads are serviced/replaced. It this true? The bearings are not cheap. My Ranger is a 2002 with 60,000 miles. Should I service the front wheel bearing?

What if the pistons are wet with brake fluid?

Actually, step 1 is loosen the lug nuts. THEN jack the car up and remove them. Otherwise the wheel will turn when you try to loosen the nuts (because 99+ percent of the viewers are not using a pneumatic wrench).
