I tried to remove the lock on my 2002 V70. Mine had one small screw accessible once the door card was off and two pop-rivets on the part of the door that faces the B pillar. Looking at the video the car being worked on is very different! Still a very good video as usual from 1A Auto

Have a xc90 2003 and was looking for trick to remove cylinder, PERFECT !!! even though bracket is completely different, thanks !!!

There is a plastic cover, that is not shown in this video. You must remove the window front the rails and lift it out to remove the plastic cover.

2010 Volvo XC90 ....My key will rotate (spin) a full 360° freely and not engage or catch anything electronic locks and fob still work however cannot risk loss of battery power. Anyone have this happen to them any easy or inexpensive fixes? This just happened yesterday. Someone theorized that I was a broken lock cylinder from a screw driver attack/attempt to open the car door.
