Control arms are typically large and strong, so you may be surprised it needs replacing. They contain rubber bushings for smoother rides at the cost of eventual wear, or integrated ball joints that require replacing the entire arm when they wear. This video shows you how to install a new quality TRQ upper control arm in your 2007-14 Chevy Silverado.

Thank you, I did mine without removing the front strut, just have to use a wrench and carefully maneuver the bolts around the spring.

If you have a 4x4, you MUST loosen the axle nut and push the axle out of the knuckle. If you don’t and let the knuckle hang like in this video you have a very high chance of destroying your cv axle because of the angle your stressing the joint to.

Drives nut on 100Ftlbs.. "tork this to 33 ftp s....*beep*" just because it beeps doesn't mean you didn't just tork it well beyond 33 .... You just put that much pressure on it after the fact 😅

What does the strut have too doo with replacing the upper arm in this video?nothing at all..and taking more off that you dont need

You don’t have loosen the tie rod or take the strut out, a lot of extra work for no reason, and an impact with a plastic hubcap lmao

why on earth would you not replace the tie rods? They are shot and you have to get an alignment anyways.

they had videos with all the front end replaced..in the truck it one each time to learn but they sure said something about you sure replaced this when you around..
