How to replace handbrake cable and brake shield etc. Volvo V70 S60 S80 XC70 XC90 etc [project EP 6] 

We are continuing the work of trying to repair this red Volvo V70N from 2004. It has no effect on the parking brake and this needs to be fixed for the inspection. The troubleshooting shows that the left handbrake cable has bunched up. We simply have to tear down the parking cable and get another one. But what do the handbrake shoes look like? and the brake shield? and the discs?
