Hey guys whats going on will from Group Chat. Today I will be teaching you how to change your injectors on a 5sfe. This tutorial also works with any Toyota that came with the 5sfe motor. I will be changing the injectors in my 1991 Toyota mr2 5sfe. I will also Be upgrading to bigger more powerful injectors.

7:23 he put the spark plug wire on without the nut that holds the valve cover on that cylinder. but it was missing it fromt he beginning. guess its not necessary. thank you for the video. helped a lot

The 5S has a MAF sensor, right? Wouldn’t it be worth it to convert it from MAF to MAP by using 3SGTE parts in combination with a Megasquirt or Apexi Power FC?

I have a 3 bar map sensor from a 3sgte I would love to go stand-alone but it’s very difficult in the 5sfe

Yes all 5sfes have the same exhaust manifold

I find it hilarious the book calls for you to pull off the throttle body, no mention of the valve cover, just doesn’t make sense to me, only reason I could see is that they don’t want the engine opened
