This is how I replaced my fuel pump on the MR2 we recently purchased , it took a bit longer than I thought. Well worth the effort. It should guide you through some of it and help you plan accordingly on parts you will need for the effort.
On a side note, I cut the two small hoses at the back of the fuel tank, because I could not properly remove them, that’s probably the biggest time consumer, two small hoses.
