The one thing he misses is to always lube the caliper slider pins. Always. Its a good idea to replace the slide pins and rubber boots as well considering the age of the vehicle

One, he did Grease the caliper pins two, it depends on the type of a caliper as to whether or not you need to use the C-clamp or that little tool he used or whatever concoction you can come up with to get the damn thing back into its place 3, he did mention pumping up the brakes and making sure you test them before you drive the car and he did put the torque specifications screen he did an awesome job it was a really understandable video which I'm surprised because most of them are not yeah I'm a girl but I rebuild my own Motors and everything else so yeah he did a great job dude five stars

Great video, wish he discussed the wear indicator, looks like it was installed on the inside? Also, are both slide pins the same or are they different? Great tip on releasing the parking brake, along with the lower slide bolt, those would have stumped me for a minute or two.

One thing all these videos fail to mention-after changing the brakes, make sure you pump up the brakes using the brake pedal before you try and move the vehicle. Nothing is scarier than pressing the brake and the vehicle doesn't stop.

Any other Nissan owners notice that the rear pads do NOT slide in the brake hardware properly? Always notice the pads are stuck and hard to remove. When i do other makes/models they are usually simple to remove...

Is it the same for a 2004 Maxima? Also do you have to have "Brake" grease? Or will Hi-heat grease work as well.

At the 12:50 Mark when torquing the caliper carrier brackets - you say the required torque for these brackets is 116 to 144 ft. lbs, but then immediately follow up saying "So I've got my torque wrench set at 220 ft. lbs?" Did you misspeak?

arent you suppose to use a caliper rewind tool for the rear pistons so you don't potentially break the parking brake? I thought it was only safe to use a C clamp on the front rotors

So many mistakes in this video. 1. always open the bleeder when pushing in the piston 2. always clean and lube the slider pins. 3. never spray brake clean directly on the pads. 4. always clean up the metal surface under the retainer clips for the pads. 5. always readjust the park brake shoes after the new rotor is installed and held securely against the hub face. 6. always clean BOTH sides of the new rotor face. You're welcome.
