Every video you do is well informed. Thanks a lot!!! I do have a couple of questions. If my rear axle seal is not leaking, would it be ok to just reuse it? Second, I am going to replace my backing plates. What is the torque on those large nuts holding those on? Or where can I find the torque specs. 2001 chevy silverado 2500hd. Thanks so much!
Why did you not CLEAN with BRAKE CLEANER the inner parking brake drum because it has lite oil on it to keep it from rusting and i didn't see you adjust the parking brake??
Why the heck would GM decide to make the parking brake so complicated to change the pads? To remove the axle to change brake pads is ridiculous. I know gm did it, like most things so people have to go to a dealer or garage to have pads changed and then while your doing it mine a well change all the seals and clips and whatnot you have to remove to get to the pads .
