Vinyl tops add a nice touch to some cars. But not sure they are worth the damage they can cause. The best solution for a roof panel might be find a donor car to get it from. That might be slim pickings of course.

Yes you are correct once all welded and primed definitely seam seal drip rail.

Thanks had a good time out in Arizona. The panel between the back glass and trunk deck is the filler panel, and the panels on each side that go between the 1/4 glass and rear window is the sail panels. That are called that because that is what they resemble, even the interior panels for the sections are also called sail panel trim. Unfortunately those panels are not sold separately from the full 1/4 panels. Be a whole cooler if they did.

Good question, I assume you are talking about the area between the trunk deck and convertible top, the left and right edges of the filler panel. Only on convertibles those seams are smoothed over and not visible from the factory. Coupe has a small amount of seam sealer but still a very defined and Visible seam.

Normally step one, this interior is getting completely replaced. It was and still has a lot of mouse and other animal remains inside them.

Unfortunately they are not available as just a sail panels. They where removed from full 1/4 panels that where cut up for parts.

They can definitely wreck a roof
