Thank you for making this tutorial. The tether broke on my gas cap years ago but was able to still not loose the cap until this past winter. Thought I'd have to drive around with that fuel cap missing warning notice until I found this video!
Mines missing that clip completely. I would get “check fuel gas cap” message intermittently but the gas cap looks new from previous owner. Will not having the clip cause that message?
@@LongologoProductions i just bought a honda one, its got the tether but no clip. Is the clip needed or is it just there to hold the tether? I may just replace it but ill go to my honda dealer first with the existing one and ask them if its oem.
