Descriptive implementation instructions by movie:
1. We drain the cooling system into a clean container, can be reused, but I recommend replacing it with a new one.
2. Unscrew the 2 TORX T25 screws from the air conditioning outlet, which hold the bottom of the fuser housing inside the vehicle (rubber tip draining water from the air conditioning) from the bottom of the car on the bulkhead wall to pull out the bottom heater cover (lift required, preferably driveway or channel, lift) for changing wheels, it is a very dangerous option and uncomfortable!).
3. Move the seats to the rear, possibly you can unscrew the 2 screws at the back of the chair, which hold them to pull out to the very end, but you do not have to.
4. Remove the OBD2 interface cover, gearshift shield cover 2x TORX T25 screw, hand brake (leather), plastic cap and ashtray 2X TORX T25 screw (after unscrewing the ashtray, pull to yourself and pull out 2 plugs (lamp and power supply cigarette lighter socket).
5. Unscrew the entire central plastic tunnel of 5 TORX T25 screws, the one from the handbrake and gears, only then we can move the entire tunnel back and up, then pull it out of the car.
6. Unscrew the steel consoles brackets, without this we will not take out the heater and the housing of the bottom heater, because they block access, 2x 2xTORX T30.
7. Remove the steel hooks 8 pieces around the heater casing and pull out the bottom casing, sliding towards the shift knob, not sideways.
8. We extend the plastic ventilation air passage, because it blocks the possibility of sliding the lower housing and sliding the lower housing towards the gear shift knob.
9. To disconnect the heater with tubes, put an absorbent towel under this connection, because the liquid from the tubes will pour out and it would be a pity to pour the floor in the car, then the windows will evaporate, so the rags and some container will be useful.
10. Pull out the metal pins and pull out the heater with plastic binoculars from the tubes, and the heater with the binoculars (plastic connection element), is in our hands :)
11. We replace the gaskets, clean the gasket seats, stick the gasket on the heater casing, just like the old one, so that the heater in the housing is immobile and does not buzz when driving.
12. Put in a new fuser (or only new o-rings, but clean the space for O-rings) - attention to o-rings, or rubber gaskets, should be lubricated with, for example, technical vaseline, dish soap, soap or saliva, they would get into the place well and they would not be deformed from the friction (sliding in).
13. We put everything back in the same way, put the heater on the tubes well and put in the safety devices, ie inserts, HERE, SHOULD RECEIVE A SPECIAL ATTENTION so that the inserts will become thicker elements of the tubes, because if we do it wrong, the flood in the car will be 100%
14. Carry out all the actions by folding back in reverse order, taking care not to break something, ruin it.
15. READY, pour the cooling system into the radiator and enjoy a new or repaired old heater.
It is best to do work on the lift, to have easy access to the air conditioning outflow, which needs to be unscrewed with 2 TORX screws using a small ratchet, TORX T25 bit and extensions or two. You can unscrew the screws without a workshop lift, using a wheel lift, sliding under the car, but the car should be perfectly protected with treads and additional protection in the form of wooden blocks, but I recommend a driveway or a garage with a channel.
