Usetool's warnings
We advise never replacing just one shock absorber, to make sure you drive we the most balanced vehicle possible.
The use of a jack to counter balance the pressure of the shock absorber spring is strongly advise, as explained in the tutorial.

Nice video. I don't agree though the new shock being squeezed in the vice with no protection ( at least some pieces of wood or rubber). Question: the two pieces you added to protect the tube, are coming with the new shock?

Nice video very informative, I’ve got a mk2 Citroen c4 and when I was removing the toe bar that came with it I noticed after I’d jacked my car up that both rear wheels were bearly lifted off the ground and I mean I probably couldn’t get my fingers under the bottom of the tire. yet the jack was at max height and the axel stands that went under to support the car where on the first hole (notch) is this a sign there defective (the rear shocks) or am I worrying over nothing any help or a dive would be greatly appreciated.

I just got my shocks but am concerned, they compress with little to no effort and have to be decompressed manually. Is this normal on none gas shocks? Surely should be somewhat difficult to compress
