Perfectly explained and filmed for this kind of content. I watch quite a bit of “how to” and a lot of the time its poorly filmed and missing the important steps.
I have a very nice & great running 02' Blazer ZR2 but it's running a few deg warmer than I'd like here in SE TX. She's been running 210° w/ a 195° thermostat & climbing on hot days, when she was running about 200° in the summer. I just use a Crescent Wrench & a tap of a Hammer to pop that clutch fan loose & 2 taps to tighten it. Pops loose everytime. Its an easy 1hr project to replace the water pump on a 4.3 I'm doing mine tomorrow even though my current pump isn't leaking & I show flow in radiator after the thermostat opens. However, I hate it when my temp runs above 210°. Guess im a bit OCD & I love to tinker or Shade Tree. I've done the upper, lower coolant hoses, flushed twice, new thermostat, coolant, added Water Wetter that doesn't work, a new Hayden Severe Duty Clutch Fan, temp sensor, belt, tensioner, idler pulley, you name it. I have a heavy homemade 5x9 utility trailer that put some strain on my coolant system. I'm sure the engine is fine at 220° but I'm not taking chances. Nice info..
It was the cheap autozone brand, only store locally that had one at the time, the back cover gasket kept leaking and i think it was already leaking from the weep hole
