very helpful step by step video. I have a slightly different problem on my 2006 750LI. My front passenger window is stuck at fully closed position and I am unable to open using the button on my driver door and the button on that door. There is absolutely no sound when I press the button. I have checked the fuse and they are fine. I am suspecting a motor failure. Now my question is my window is stuck at the fully closed position. Will I be able to remove the glass while it is stuck at fully closed position to reach to the regulator? Thanks for your help.
You need to think outside the box on this one. Remove or disassemble the motor from the regulator. At that point, the regulator is freed, and you can manually position the window where you need it. Although, the motors on these rarely fail. What happens is the regulator fails and binds up the motor. Same concept tho, the motor needs to be removed from the regulator.
