HOW TO REPLACE TPMS SENSOR ON CHEVROLET CRUZE MALIBU SONIC IMPALA TAHOE TRAVERSE EQUINOX SILVERADO
In this video we will explain how to replace TPMS sensor on Chevrolet / Chevy car, SUV, or PICKUP Truck. TPMS sensor is the tire pressure sensor inside your tire usually mounted on the rim that detects how much air your have in your tires. In this video we will demonstrate where the tpms sensor is located and how to replace it on Chevrolet Cruze but it will be the same for most Chevrolet models.

As long as you dont change the rim and keep the same setup you can break the tire down by hand and remount it by hand its a little pain in the ass but its free lol

Great video. You sure know your stuff. I had to find this for the guy who I married because he wasn't about to pay $180 for the dealer to replace the sensor that just went bad on my 2019 Blazer RS. I checked the price of a GM part and it runs $30. So $150 would be the labor. After seeing what's involved, $180 didn't sound bad to him at all. 😂😂😂

huh why is this impossible? All you need to do is take the wheel off and break the bead. You'd be surprised how many ways there are to do it without a tire machine.

does it matter how the sensor screws on to the end of the stem, does like the white part of the sensor need to be facing like how you have it or can it be in any direction?

So basically, if you do not have this machine, to replace the sensor means a trip to the tire shop.

Yes, you have to be able to remove, or partially remove the tire from the wheel in order to get to the base of the valve stem where the sensor is located.

I do it manually at home every time I patch a tire... it's a pain in the ass.. but it can be done.. and I save 30 USD every time

I did, no leak, the leak comes from the oil cap.

Not typically. They are sealed inside it.

The batteries are just as much as the entire new sensor in my experience

On some you can replace the battery, on this one you would not want to it involves too much time and hassle with soldering.

@@joedevitto6113 yeah my light on my Toyota seinna has been on for a year. It has one on the spare tire. Up under the van. And only the dealership can really get to it on the lift. And I really get sick of waiting two hrs for an oil change.

I would see if you can at least get that out and put it in the van in the back or something , What about a tire place to change the sensor , all these computerized things in the cars today just cause more headaches when they break . i like the old school cars easy to fix

@@joedevitto6113 i got a 65 chevy van too. It didnt have a fuse box so I bought a new harness thinking that will be easy to put in. Nope. Im stuck on the light switch the blinker switch and theres no voltage regulator. Its all very very confusing. And I've been scratching my head for over a month.
