if this doesnt fix the leak check inside the spark plug hole theres a gasket right about the middle which gonna be a pain to fix cus you gotta basically open the motor
It used to have very high oil consumption, not anymore. I'd put in 1 litre (quart) every 3 to 4 weeks of driving, but since replacing the gaskets in January, I haven't topped up with oil. I'm not driving the car daily but there's a huge improvement, oil started going down now on the MMI display by 10%, which is not bad at all
@@fullthrottle011 that ain’t bad at all must be nice I’m tired of this Audi a4 I got it burns oil every 200-300 miles and that’s a full quart it burns I have to put oil in it around every 4 days to a week depending on how many miles I drive. I’m thinking about getting a 2015-2016 Audi a6 3.0t heard there reliable and don’t have this problem with burning oil
@@DkPlayz absolutely enjoying the car now, drives much better. You're right, those 3.0T from 2012 if S4 or 2015 if A6 then you're good, the oil consumption issue was resolved with those motors
There was no misfire but I had a lot of white / blue smoke when I was driving, especially if the car was parked for a long period. The smoke would also appear at WOT, when I stop the car, I'd have a cloud of smoke. From what I saw it looked like oil was getting into the spark plug wells cause the gasket was badly worn, now the car is perfect, no more smoke 👌
