This is the only video I found that explained how to set up the new motor before installing. Since it looked nothing like the old one and didn't come with instructions we assumed we'd ordered the wrong part, but this video saved the day. Thank you!
Thanks, this helped me a lot. Broke some clips, but that is what I get for buying crap. The only thing that would have made this video better is how to test to make sure we are replacing the right thing.
I had to buy a replacement but it only has one ground wire. I’m so confused now. The video is exactly what I needed just don’t understand what I’m doing with the pasty’s a bit different. I ordered per the refrigerator model number. Thank you for the very detailed and easy to understand video.
If you ordered the evaporator motor it should have came with the other wires as well not just the ground wire. What is the model number of your refrigerator? Did you order this part through AppliancePartsPros.com?
@@appliancepartspros thank you so much for your response. It’s the wrong part…sigh. We had a professional diagnose it since further research shows it may be a leak. It’d cost more to fix it than it was really worth. I appreciate these videos as I try to educate myself, thank you so much.
This looks like my Amana 2008 I can't find defrost timer Is it in the upper light assembly? If so how do l get that open l don't see an entrance past the light cover
