In this video I will show you how to replace the light switch/trim/cover for your Audi, A2, A3, A4, A6, A8 and Allroad when scratched and worn
In this video the example is using an Audi A4 B6 so the exact options on the switch and size may vary but the method is the same.

You can simpely pull the switch to the left and pull it straight out. No cutting needed.

Yes... but you run the risk of pulling too hard and breaking something

exactly, why running the risk break the other stuff. amof, what I did was heat up the blade and cut it through the knob. no fuss!

What do you mean by pulling it to the left? Turning the switch past 12 o‘clock to the left?

is removing the turning part similar on a c5 a6?

Omg. To remove middle switch you have to take pliers grab midle switch in midle and put it out you can use legs if you doing it with no tools to hold it.

No need to be cutting anything I was able to change it all by just unclipping the old one and putting new one in 2 sec job
