HOW TO RESET STEERING ANGLE SENSOR ON CHEVROLET, BUICK, GMC, CADILLAC, CHEVY SAS CALIBRATION
In this video we will explain how to reset steering angle sensor on Chevrolet, GMC, BUICK and Cadillac cars, the procedure is also known as steering angle sensor calibration. If you have done some suspension work, alignment or installed new steering angle sensor you will need to calibrate it or otherwise your traction control light will stay on and your traction control system will not work correctly. We explained how to reset and calibrate steering angle sensor on Chevrolet but it will work on multiple GM brands such as Buick, GMC, Cadillac (not all models).
This procedure may work on the following vehicles:

Is this the same procedure where on BMW you just turn steering wheel competely to the left and than to the right? Or that is something else?

When I tried to read live data of stearing angel sensor and turned the weel to max right it gives 760, and to max left -720, but the standered range should read -720/+720, so what to do now ? is it sensor problem or need calibration or reset ?

Did you replace them? If they dont take programming they are the wrong freq or completely dead battery. Replacing would be your only option.

I don't think so that's why I bought the nt 650 elite because they don't sell this exact unit anymore I'm guessing the elite is the upgrade or newest model it's all that's on the website not the one like he has it's an older version.

You may need to reset the steering sensor first, or it's damaged and needs to be replaced

I am using the same scanner on my 2018 chevy Silverado to reset and calibrate my steering angle sensor but I get rejected and it says [Request rejected by control module conditions not correct /request sequence error] please tell me what the problem is?thanks

Because you need to replace the sensor first…. You can’t re learn a faulty sensor

I tried this on a Malibu and the Foxwell unit displays an error "Request Rejected by the Control Module: Conditions Not Correct/Request Sequence Error". Why is that happening?

No. I returned the Foxwell unit since it didn't work as advertised. And my steering wheel still wants to drift slightly left.

@@HutProductionz I had the service stabilitrack light on where my steering angle sensor needed to be recalibrated and the 650 elite can do that but my steering wheel is off center a little and I watched a video on RU-vid by Bros Fourr speed called how to straighten your steering wheel easily at home. Check it out I think it's going to be of some help ✌️

I think it may have to do with Malibus being equipped with the option of either electric or hydraulic power steering. My 2009 Malibu has hydraulic and my snapon scanner says no communication when I try to do any sort of power steering relearns. Im assuming these relearns are for electric power steering only. The cruze he is demonstrating on also is electric steering.

It's likely related to the power steering torque sensor. As far as I know, it has to be recalibrate with a high dollar scan tool.
