Just cut little notches out with a dremel and metal cutting blade or grind them out with something. Or Just use a screwdriver and pry it down with leverage off of the little inside trim under the piece that is supposed to be down thats what i did.

Fantastic I had this problem today due to my lack of knowledge and experience... I now see why there are cut outs on the spark plug spanner... so you can rest the brake... thanks again....

Just use a 9/16" wrench and screwdriver. Take the open end of the wrench, place the jaws over one of the three sprockets, then insert the screwdriver through the closed end of the wrench and twist the wrench with the screwdriver clockwise.

The scrench that came with my dad's 445 doesn't have the grooves in the large end shown in this video. Do you sell these screnches seperately? My dad needs to reset his chain brake but we don't have the tool.

I used a 9/16" wrench, but I inserted it at an angle and turned. (I found I had to turn mine counter-clockwise to get it unstuck.) It didn't take much pressure at all, and I'm a 124 lb stay-at-home mom. Just popped right out.

What’s behind the chain bar that prevents it from wiggling? I took apart mine to put the chain back on and I think I lost a washer or spacer or something cuz the bar won’t stay straight it has too much play and I can’t get the cover back on?? Bb

@@bobbybass8915 NO. Custom grind on a regular scrench did the trick. 90 degree needle nose will work if needed. Husqvarna USA just not reading there comments. With only 4 comments from Sept 2020 to January 2021 how could they miss it ? I have more Husqvarna/Partner saws then STIHL. With Stihl I have a Tech Sales Specialist that will get me answers when needed. Husky dealers are good, just no factory support for us out here in the field. As a fire district mechanic parts are a problem for me . Some K650 mark "1" sitting on the shelf because air filters can not be found. Have to buy foam sheets and cut them out by hand. They made great saws, but the USA market is treated like an second class cargo.

“Why isn’t that tool included with the saw” because you’re supposed to read the owner’s manual before operating! I don’t read them completely either, but that’s because, I’m a man. Don’t normally read instructions before trying to assemble kids swing set or IKEA furniture either
