How to Reset the Service Light on a Volkswagen - 2013 Jetta - Clear the Oil Service Interval Light 

This light will come on every 10k miles and need to be reset.

I had this light come on this morning in my 2013 TDI Jetta at 69k. Thank you for posting this, very helpful. I was a bit worried because I’m tuned and have a few other mods but I can now rest easy.

Just a little extra bit, the button on the left will also scroll through to show what the service reminder mileage is at. You have to press it 3-4 times as it will go through the clock, then mileage (can change from miles to kilometers) then the service monitor will show .

Thank you for this video. My dad changed the oil on my 2013 jetta today, but didn't know how to reset the oil change reminder. On the side note my 2013 jetta has 48K miles 😊

Thanks for the video on the reset. My 2013 Jetta TDI is driven less than 10,000 miles a year, but the service light needs reset once a year. For that reason, I believe that it's an either-or indicator.

This didn't work for my 2013 Jetta SE. Tried it like 20 times and nothing. Then I tried it holding down the brake pedal and it worked the very first time...idk if it was chance or what but if this isn't working for you it can't hurt to hold the brake. Worked for me!

How to change the outside temperature display instead the estimated distance you can drive with the fuel remaining in the tank. Think you so much

And what's with no parking light? Just 2 positions .. on and off? Never seen that before. By 88 according had twist to parking lights then headlights. Weird. Anyway, thx again

I don't see my mileage anymore. Only trip etc. Any ideas on what I need to do to see my vehicles overall drive mileage. I have a 2013 tdi sel premium with fender sound system. Sorry I just can't find the solution anywhere yet then I seen your video.
