How to respond if someone starts to text you less and less 

If they text you less and less it means they don't care about you. 😥. That's the vibe I get.

Yeah these people aren’t worth your time. If they can’t communicate or reciprocate, it’s a “friendship” worth leaving behind.

people only respond to those who they care about.

I used find myself getting upset and chasing the other person so I learned the hard way that this suggestion works better. I have more self respect now and a stronger boundary - I need to keep hearing this good stuff. Thanks Marie..

This is exactly what's going on with my best friend. I can't help but be hurt and pissed because she's only seeing her own pain. We're both going through things, I lost my father two years ago and I'm just feeling happy again and she has money problems. I try to be supportive and cheer her up but she has never made an effort to support me. I'm starting to really see how selfish and inconsiderate she is and wonder why have I not confronted her before. It's because my heart is too big and I always try to make excuses for people who I really love even when they hurt me. Thank you for your videos. I feel like I can focus more on myself now.

I have this "friend" who I used to be pretty close with. We would tell each other everything. But this summer we became more and more distant with each other because she only wants to spend time with her boy friend, and also I think she may be jealous because I've hanging out with my other friend (who she doesn't like.) Anytime I text her she seems really annoyed and she is very short with me, yet she talks to everyone else like they are her best friend (sometimes I think it's on purpose so that I will feel upset.) I am nothing but nice to her! But now she's posting things on twitter that I'm 99% sure are directed towards me. It's really making me mad because I am so nice to her and she treats me like I'm a burden. I don't know what to do. I really don't want to be friends with her anymore because she constantly takes advantage of me & says little things to try to bring me down. The thing is I have to see her again every week very soon. Any advise would be greatly appreciated!

I have a LOW tolerance for temperamental people. Perhaps it's because I grew up with a mother who had erratic mood changes all the time. When I come across someone who doesn't take criticism well, is happy one minute and depressed the next, who blows mistakes way out of proportion, or who abuses alcohol or drugs, I hit the road running! Sure, I'm lonely sometimes, but it's an acceptable alternative to living a life filled with drama.

I have a best friend and we know everything about each other, we would text each other 24/7 if we came home from school and on weekends and free days just 24/7. We used to hang out twice a week but since she has a online boyfriend she doesn't do any of these anymore. Although i must say, she has depression already a long time but it never stood in the way for our friendship. I have tried to talk with her about it but when i do she gets mad. Now the only thing we text on days are 'goodmorning' 'wyd' and 'goodnight' I am always everyday the first one who sends something but after that i am afraid to annoy her when i text her because she also hangs out a lot with another girl now. Its complicated and i don't know what do because i can't live without her but when i will try to tell her how i feel again she would say 'yeah me too, im gonna make sure it wont happen again' and the next day it still happens. She doesn't even ask me anymore how i am or how my day was. Pls i can get advice

I'm living this but the other way round : a close friend (and colleague) has been calling me or asking me to call him every day, since a few months. I understand that he's going through something difficult, but I am also going through thought things and one way to take care of myself is having my bubble and not have conversations with people. I've told him this many times and he still insists to see/call me and it's beginning to make me anxious and irritated. He says I'm independant and that I have other times when I have time for myself. I guess I have to set clearer boundaries with him :(

I've been going through this texting thing with a man I've been interested in for 3 months. He'll go days without texting and say he's busy with work and school. When I questioned him he said he's still interested in me. It's hard to show him how great I am when we don't spend much time together (not my choice) and I think he's afraid to get too close too soon. I think he's great so I'm going to keep waiting even though the times in between texts are painful. Thanks for this video.

I had this issue with someone who I liked as a friend and as a crush. Soon as they started dating all their plans went to their partner and I was left hanging. I started to pull back from them and they came asking why haven't I contacted them in a while and I said i'm hanging out with others. They got jealous but I didn't want to make them feel that way but I can't put my life on hold while there are lots of things I can do.

I texted this girl i really like 2 times obviously she's not interested if she was she would put the time and effort to reply it says read on the text message so she read it. I won't text back unless she sends me a text. Even if she doesn't reply she can still be interested. Sometimes they like to test guys to see if they are needy the more i keep texting the worse it's going to get. It''s going to chase her away at the point where she will block my number. My chances with her would be over. I see this girl occasionally so when i approach her everything will be at ease since she will respect me for giving her space that might start attracting her towards me since i wasn't needy it shows i have a life and that my life doesn't revolve around her. So guys best to be patient and wait till she texts you back if not move on don't freak out there is plenty of fish in the sea.
