Omg, this happened to me yesterday. They offered me 14/hr but advertised a range starting at $20/hr. I was able to negotiate to $17/hr starting which will go to $20/hr after my training is complete. I appreciate your videos for giving me the confidence to negotiate.

Make sure you get this in writing. Idk how many times an employer has said XYZ and it not happen because it wasn't in writing

How would you respond to a recruiter who said the offer was strict after you asked for negotiation and they never asked for a counter offer?

I personally would walk away completely. If they can't be honest about something as crucial as your salary, imagine how many lies they'll tell you once you start working for them.

Hi Andy, I interviewed for this position and my would be manager left in the which led to delays in telling me if I got the job, it’s been a month due to what they’re calling “restructuring”. I checked and the job requisition I applied for is still active and another of similar role was recently created. Any thoughts? I don’t know if I got to the job or if I’m still being held on a back burner just in case. At any rate, it’s been extremely stressful being placed in this holding pattern which may last another month. How long is too long to wait? Thank you for a lot of the work you do, I actually used a lot of your key questions to ask.
