"Feeling" is a huge one. We all want to FEEL saved, feel motivated, feel, feel, feel. We have to go by what the Bible says, not how we feel. Good video!
But also listen to your spirit and the discernment of spirits. God works differently in all of us. Our relationship with Him isnt cookie cutter. Recently i realized my "gut" feeling or my intuitions..is how i listen. When i obey, things always ALWAYS work out. When i dont, well it works out in the end but much much harder. (Im not saying Gods paths is always easy, He never said it would be easy) Ive always been hyper aware of situations and hyper aware of how im feeling. Literally doctors have told me, wow thats incredible ive never heard anyone describe (whatever it is) that way. After a bible study with my husband...i realized one of my dominant gifts is discernment of spirit. My hyper awareness is me listening to my spirit which falls under discernment. And for me, thats through feelings.

Last November, I lost the love of my life after 53 years of marriage. My faith was tested and I felt that hope for my future was fading away. I kept reaching for the Lord and remembering all of the blessings that the Lord has bestowed upon me. God blessed me with an awesome wife, two incredible children and four amazing grandchildren. I remember all of my blessings and I remember, my wife is in Heaven now and I know I will see her again. In the meantime, pray and trust God.

During this time, it's been extremely difficult for my wife and I. She's stuck in Peru and I'm here in the United States. There is no way we can reunite until her country allows international travel. We haven't seen each other since February. But we zoom call everyday, read our bibles together and spend time with the Lord daily. We encourage each other, and pour into each other. My love for Christ and my wife is growing everyday. It's difficult and I have my moments. But without God, my wife wouldn't be in my life. She's my blessing. Stay strong guys, I'm praying for you all.
I have a condition in my body called pots syndrome. I have all the symptoms. I haven't been diagnosed and I'm afraid to get diagnosed because if I do I will have my commercial driver's license taken away in my ability to make money will go out the window. This syndrome causes you to be exhausted because your blood does not flow the way it's supposed to your parasympathetic nervous system gets affected by it. You can get the disorder from a concussion car accident that's usually how it happens. I was in four car accidents and a two year period never got diagnosed with the concussion but my guess is that's where it started. Having an already stressful life doesn't help with this condition sets you over the edge. It affects your ability to sleep it affects your breathing it makes you feel like you have asthma and you can't breathe you can't sit up for long periods of time and I need to do that while I'm driving. I just walked away from a $20 an hour job because my body couldn't handle it and I didn't want to tell the employer that I had a physical problem. My wife is pregnant with our second born my wife doesn't work everyone's depending on me and I'm not the man that I used to be. So needless to say I'm not shopping at the bit to worship God and read my Bible. I've screamed and yelled at God and asked him to help me and he's silent. I'm sorry about your wife can't even imagine what you're going through.

I have financial problems, physical problems, we are expecting our second daughter in August which is a blessing but I lost my job over a year ago and it's been very hard I stress levels have been through the roof and I have a nervous system disorder my body that I don't want to get diagnosed because I'm afraid I'll lose my commercial license. My wife fought Cancer for 18 months, she suffered greatly, we worked hard to save her, I prayed daily to have God's intervention to help her, she lost her battle. My furbaby developed Cancer several months later,12 months of Cancer treatment for her, we lost that battle. I'm the only one standing. God is great!

I should know; my father died as I was finishing high-school, and my mother suddenly had to shoulder the burden of taking care of 3 children while she was still mourning. I was the oldest one. For this particular reason (how hard it is), God's word, and Christians in general say that children should not be born out of wedlock. Sometimes women bring this upon themselves, and then want God to take care of their mess. There are wonderful single childless Christian ladies that have kept themselves pure, yet they are never blessed with a husband. If God were to bless anyone, they would ne first in line. Sometimes life is unfair from our perspective and God does not bring the breakthrough we want. Tough luck.

If we are honest, what you are saying is true brother Allen, l'm a missionary serving Jesus in a foreign country, but I struggle with certain questions, and the difficult part is when God is completely silient when you need Him the most, but we've to obey God and life by faith not by sight. I feel like a complete failure as a Christian, my faith used to be so strong I used to read my bible daily, I used to pray frequently through out the day... now I feel like an empty shell of who I used to be; I slowly began losing faith in God because of other Christians judging me for my past and making me feel unloved and unwelcomed, keep in mind these were the same people who brought me to Christ... I feel like I've been backstabbed by people who claim to love God.

I'm in a much better place, bless you for your concern for a fellow brother in Christ. I finished reading the bible from genesis to revelations in July this year and I have been rereading the new testament over and over again until next year where I'll start all over again. I hope to keep this practice for the rest of my life and I would encourage anyone to do it. I've strengthened my relationship with God, but I still have more to learn about his character and what his purpose is for me. I needed to listen to this. I’m 36 and never been married and have prayed for years for a good Christian man, and today I just hit rock bottom. I keep fearing dying alone (physically). I think this fear has become worse since losing my mum nearly two years ago. But then I keep thinking on the amazing things that God HAS done! Thanks for putting this up. Lately my faith began to slip up because of Calvinism. I started to watch videos about predestine how God want some people to go to heaven and hell. I fell so baddd what if God wanted me to go to hell in the very first place. It made me question his love. I know it's bad to doubt his love for us. But it keep on bugging me. I do all these things, mentioned, reading bible, have finished it 3 times, listening to worshipin music etc, noo faith in my heart, even as small as the marstad seed, i believe bcz i do have testimonies. Been prayin 4 8yrs now to have any job, while i have qualifications, my faith i really shaken, don't know how to regain it anymore, have tried every Godly thing

Hey fam im no preacher but things will get better, the enemy wants us to think we're the only ones who life is different from everybody else and everyone else life is so much easier. Try not to focus on other peoples lives because that was my problem thinking im a mess and things go smoothly for all my friends. I repented and gave it all to God yesterday and have felt so much better and back on track again in my personal walk with God!
Grew up and FORCED in multiple religions. Was told all sorts of different beliefs (and conspiracy’s). It’s been years since I even looked at a Bible. Someone inspired me to try again.
I'm an agnostic person and I woke up and realizd6 that I can make my life better if I start to believe in God again, for now this is my beginning, I hope that I will learn a lot along the way of returning my faith.

i have questions no one has been able to answer, even pastors. these questions are of the very core of the gospel, and i don’t know how to even rationalize my faith with the missing puzzle pieces.

Thank you Allen for touching on this topic, which I think many Christians deal with. It's easy to get disillusioned by the things of this world, but all we need to do in spend time in God's word and His presence. Take time to reflect on the things we did when we first fell in love with God and start doing those things again when we start to lose our way. What I love about God is that He is always there no matter how often we reject Him. The story of Hosea & Gomer is such a perfect example of how we treat God and how He continues to pursue us.

Judas Iscariot had done Satan's bidding, And it is in hell where he now is sitting. Jesus died on the cross to pay for our shortcoming, However don't be saddened for if you believe in him you will see him at your homecoming. There he sits at the right hand of God's throne, Being the voice of truth and love that we all have known. Satan's tongue is coated in a layer of deceit, And he tramples over promises with his feet. He's a being who is bound by deceptions, Whose very essence oozes with misconceptions. He struggles to look you in your eyes, For his gaze holds nothing but lies. On occasion he will give you his hand, But don't be fooled by his stand. He seeks to corrupt your heart, You would be wise to avoid him from the start. Seeking quick pleasures and casting aside love, He traverses this land with push and shove. Now Lucifer was once not lost, But pride blinded him at a cost. Disobeying God he waged war, Becoming detestable to the core. Today he is the ruler of Earth, Though for all his power he has no real worth. However most of us have still been sold, Giving into sin and becoming cold. Nearly everyone is a puppet dancing on strings, Marching to delusion for their unjust kings. My people have given into lust, Becoming robots full of rust. However you my child are the exception, So when you meet me don't forget to mention. That you alone have been granted the key, And before your glory they shall all bend a knee.
I love seeing all these comments about God answering prayers and who needed this message. He's really bringing in/bringing back people to His kingdom before time runs out. God is just TOO MUCH!!!! 💕🙌🏿
This is somewhat me, I haven't Lost Faith in YAH, after asking HIM for certain assistance in All FAITH I got No answer, I quit Reading, Praying for people, quit going to "church" people there made it worse No love and very judgemental I not really interested in listening to spiritual music etc, now Iisten still LOVE the LORD with everything, I just stop asking for anything, and just thank HIM All HE has Done, Doing and about to Do,
Thanks Allen for all you do. I am 50 single and still not married. I'm glad God has blessed you in that way. But something to remember just because God can do something, doesn't mean he will for you or anyone else. It's ultimately God's will that determines his action or lack their of . Belief is needed to answer prayer however answering prayer does not mean that your petitions will be granted. Prayer which some of us including myself are misinterpreting is about communion devotion and aligning our wants and needs with Gods will not the other way around.
I know this is a late response but my faith is low. I believe God blessed others, and I’m stuck with disappointment. If only you knew the half of it. I’m in my word. Involved in church and discipleship training, all the while looking at others being blessed. I’m happy for them but sometimes feel like my destiny in life is to suffer. That’s all I’ve done for 40 years. I’m trying. I’ve prayed, I’ve read, I’ve blessed others willingly from the heart, I’ve ran ministries, loved God and abstained from sex. This is tougher than it sounds. I’ve practiced gratefulness and still doing it, I’m just drowning .

I was getting over my addiction of pornography, I managed to stay 1 month without watching porn or masturbating, and has time progressed I was reading the Bible more often until one day that I fell into temptation as starting watching porn everyday and I’ve tried multiple times to quit but I can’t, and my connection with God is becoming weaker everyday.

Listen to me. You are stronger than sin. With the power of God, you don't need to sin. You think you fall into sin, but you forget about God as soon as the devil gets close enough for you to sin. Every time you are tempted, call to God.Through him you can be saved from sin! He helped me
I need this too and that he is my provider. I need prayers for saving my home and not lose my home. Homelessness is very scary. I’m waiting for a job and need God to restore my finances.

I searched on RU-vid “what to do when my faith is low” I have experienced God opening unexpected doors for me when I need a job, a car, funds to pay my rent, my struggle with, loneliness, depression, suicide and so much more. But for the past few weeks, I can't seem to believe God want to help me. I know he can, I know without a doubt that He is more than able but right ow I just don't feel like He wants to help me. And I am reminded of the scriptures, where a man asked Jesus if He was willing and he said he was but I don't even feel worthy enough to be helped. I know the truth in my head but I need to believe it in my heart

So many modern churches emphasize emotion and feeling with so much pleading, yearning, crying during the praise and worship part of service. This is not faith. It's a feeling.

I stopped watching pornography for 7 months, my relationship with God was so good..I thought I defeated pornography through Christ for real...but idk what happened...I’m to the point where I don’t even feel guilt anymore nor regret rather I just know it’s bad...I try resisting but..I fail I need help...
Come to God in repentance and surrender all to God. We can’t overcome through our own strength, but His strength. 2 Corinthians 7:10 says that godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, but worldly sorrow produces death. We must have godly sorrow by seeing that our sin hurts God’s heart and repent (confess and forsake). God will not despise a contrite heart. I pray in the name of Jesus that you surrender all to Him and He breaks these strongholds over you.
Sometimes I ask myself why is the devil more in my life and in my thoughts then Jesus if god is everywhere and anywhere at all times why is evil more around then Jesus 😕
I pray everyday and ask for guidance I ask for me to just see one sign that he is there but I just haven’t received I been sober from alcohol and drugs but I feel like soon enough I’ll fall back as I fell back into sexual sin ..
I know exactly how you feel bro! I’ve been there and it’s not easy..but I will say this, you must shift your focus on to Christ and what he has done for you.. that sin that you and I struggle with is nailed to the cross. Just turn from it and meditate on him through His word (a must) and what ever that is around you that entices you to go there try to get rid of it. But ultimately it’s a battle for your mind and that’s what must change...I’m still going through it myself, and I’m seeing some progress. I fall at times but it’s not where I was before, the appetite for that sin will start to wither. Just make sure your fighting through scripture and prayer...We’ll get there I know it’s not easy..but we must keep running the race brother..I don’t know you but I’m praying for you.. Blessings!!
To be raw and honest, I fear joy. I seek Him daily, pray, read the Word, thank Him for blessings , thank Him for the blessings in other's lives, repent and am in fellowship with other faithful believers. But after years and years of disappointments and struggles (40+) it feels like every time I begin to have the smallest amount of joy another difficult struggle comes into my life. A couple weeks ago I had a few good days, and then I thought "shoot, now what's going to happen?'. And a week later, I had a major car problem that leaves me without a car and no way to replace it. What I have learned is that God can pick and choose who He will bless and it is out of my control. Truthfully, I am trying really hard to have faith that God will choose to work these things out in my life. But I admit it's harder and harder to stand firm in my faith when I am so weary. I still love Him and will continue to seek Him as long as I am able and He allows.
My faith used to be strong for many years, but at 59, it has been eroded by life, lack of feeling God anymore, loss, the random things that happen in this world - why are some prayers seemingly answered and others ignored? - and most of all, debilitating chronic back pain that is stealing my quality of life and joy in being alive.
