Thank you for this tutorial. I got greats results. If anyone has a first gen Lacrosse, it worked wonders. Saved me a lot of time as installing new headlight on a first gen Lacrosse involves pulling off the front bumper cover as well. I’ll see how long it lasts.

Wow what a big difference

Plastx is effectively a super-fine sanding agent. But I would recommend using Maguire's liquid rubbing compound applied by hand to really crystalize things.

Great video Andy..! Wonderful results..! 😏 Ok, I'm about to do my first headlight lens restoration on 2010 Civic. FYI, I did household hacks last night and placed vinegar soaked paper towels on headlights 30 minutes, then wiped. Immediately followed with half lemon and baking soda scrub. Both worked nicely to clean off dirt, grime, oxidation... but of course I'm left with original sealant that was not stripped off with those methods. I really like kits with ceramic sealant coatings like Cerakote and Turtle Wax, but I also like buffer in Meguiar's, and sanding drill bit in 3M... 🤔 If you have chance please help me with some random questions: 1) Do you have preference for clear sealant, ceramic, other..? 2) Do you have sealant application preference... sponge, towelettes, spray..? 3) Is it more effective to have buffer over sanding attachments for drill..? 4) Is it better to hand sand, and drill buff..? 5) After you buff does sealant stick ok, or should you seal after final 3000 grit sanding, cleaning, drying..? Any other tips for me to consider..? Thanks Andy..! Your headlights came out great ✨️

Before the protection can be used must the glas been clean with isopropanole, recommend protection with uv filter.

Wet sanding is not necessary, and using a drill to buff, is simply, not correct, hand polished , is best method
