This is giving me flashbacks to Business classes. I heard SWOT is becoming less prominent because some people downplay threats/weaknesses so some will prefer a practice where you try to theorize what would destroy the company in a Bud Light sense of the phrase.
Another very insightful video and I have a question: what do you think about theocracies? They are atleast somewhat simmilar to monarchies, so I want to know what you have to say in their regard.
Thanks for the answer, by the way I asked because a while back when I watched one of your video about Poland, quite a few people said that Jesus should be King.
@@SmelvinTheSmelver 1. "Give the Cesar what belongs to Cesar, give God what belongs to God" 2. Thaf thing from Poland is propably not what you think. You see, after the Swedish Deluge the Holy Mary was crowned as the queen of Poland, as it's believed that thanks to her the Swedes were eventually pushed back. The idea of Jesus as a King is symbolic, as the Polish identity survived the last two centuries practically thanks to the Catholic Faith.
@@polishscribe674 I know, I'm Polish afterall. But the guys that commented seemed like they didn't want this to be symbolic. Or maybe I just misunderstood them.
I’m wondering do you have an instagram account? You can post reels of monarchy and you can ‘boost your posts’ by paying a bit of money so that it can reach more people and gain more followers if you have the professional account. I know it costs a bit of money but is it really much when promoting a good cause like this? I mean you can get it verified and earn money once you have enough followers to equalise the expenditure. Excellent video as always TMC!👑
Thanks I'm glad you like the videos! And thanks for support! I am often itching to click "promote" and turn on google ads to reach more people, but I think in the long run it will hurt the channel versus the organic growth and building online monarchist community. Instead I spent money on for example to get the surveys done (still haven't finished making all the videos on the ones done so far), and by doing that I feel we as a community get better value than mere view count. And the videos stay for years to come.
I think it‘s a very good thing you addressed the problems with Authoretarinan followers, as that is a problem with many monarchists and actually hurts the image of Monarchism.
Whether one likes it or not, an authoritarian regime is gaining popularity in Europe. It is simply human nature to cling to strong personalities. Historically, kings were also evaluated mostly positively when they were strong and authoritative figures. And this is one of the main problems of contemporary monarchists who are trying to restore the monarchy, that they often present a candidate for the throne who does not quite meet the character traits of a strong personality.
@@mrrrxxxxx Yeah, while you are right that Authoretarian movements are gainig popularity, this is not a good things as those regimes tend to cause nothing but trouble, also most monarchies that no longer exist ended either because monarch were Authoretarian or stood by as an authoretarian gouvernment ruled the country.
Fair enough, although what is authoritarian regime in it's nature? It is regime, or politicians that favor obedience to their ideology and authority at the expense of personal freedoms? to me (European perspective here) it does not necessarily mean that authoritarian regime is equal to a dictatorial regime. And that would be a good topic for a video on is EU successor to the HRE or not (hint: not because it is going away from the principle of subsidiarity favored in monarchy). Central planning, centrally controlled culture, centrally controlled personal lifes is a risk. And authoritarian. Without having any "strong" person personifying that regime. More likely anonymous bureaucrat.
@@themonarchistchannel Of course, but undermining things like freedom of Speech and the press is the best idicator for tyranny. This is something states such as hungary or turkey do. Some people might consider states with Stronf executive powers as more Authoretarian than those who don't have that but as long as one can speak out against that it's ok. Also having strong figures isn't opposed to that f.e. churchill or Thatcher. Also while democracy has sometimes give rise to tyrannies that was ussually cause of weak institutions and in some cases complacency of other parties (sometimes monarchists)
I do understand objection. However, being told that basically it's up to bribing politicians - I see that as lazy, wrong and shortsighted. another argument - pouring endless amounts of money into ads is also wrong. It is far more efficient to understand what people around you want, need, and who they are, and align this with what you want. And instead of pouring money into ads to target people strictly against you, target people who are neutral and for. Build friendships and alliances. Way cheaper.
@themonarchistchannel yeah I don't think you can achieve anything by bribery or advertising. The costs are more related to the running costs of your organisation, which would normally be enormous.

They do. In this video I talk about how to understand your goals, make connections, make friends, nonviolent action, how to deal with authoritarian followers (that ruin reputation for all) and more
